Privacy Policy

The short version

You can use IPO Verse and every calculator without an account, and we collect nothing about you to do so. If you create an account, we store only what is needed to sign you in and to keep your portfolio. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your Google profile photo. We never see your Google password.
• Portfolio holdings you add. For each holding: its ticker, name, type, quantity and average buy price.
• CAS statements. When you import a CAS PDF, it is read inside your browser. The file and its password never leave your device; only the holdings you choose to save are stored.
• Basic server logs. Our host records standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site.

Why we use it

To sign you in, show you your portfolio, and keep the service secure. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Where it is stored

• Supabase stores accounts and holdings. Each user can read and change only their own holdings.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Google handles sign-in if you choose “Sign in with Google”.
• Live prices come from market data services; only ticker symbols are sent, never anything about you.

Your choices

• Delete any holding at any time from your portfolio.
• To delete your account and everything linked to it, email rupeeverse@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We delete it within 30 days.
• You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you at the same address.

Cookies

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in, stored in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
